I've been a massive Pantera fan since I first heard them in 1994.
I had the privilege of seeing them live twice before they disbanded in 2003, and to say that they were a force would be an terrible understatement. Just under 20 years after their break-up, I was able to work with Z2 Comics to develop the cover designs, along with the slipcase for the deluxe version of their official graphic novel commemorating the 30th anniversary of their 1992 release; Vulgar Display of Power which went double platinum in the United States, gold in Canada and the UK, and platinum in Australia. Prior to this record, nothing like it had been produced. It turned the music world on its head and raised the bar for every aspiring metal band that would follow in its wake.
(Note: I did not design the Pantera logo, but I did get to tweak it just a bit)
